Welcome to the OFFICIAL website! Kansas City’s premier cover band for over 12 years. POJ features true "rock star" vocal talent by Ballard Smith, smokin' guitar artistry by Brent Gierke, hi-powered keyboard and synth layering by John Kroenke and a rock-solid backbeat by Troy Sims. POJ has the reputation of keeping their feelings and opinions to themselves, we'd hate to offend anybody, especially from the stage. We gave up the "classic rock" moniker many years ago to concentrate on more modern classics and alternative rock. But never fear, we haven't totally abandoned the great old tunes, check out our Song List to see the wide range of music POJ will pump out at the next show.
